Welcome to Vale getaways, a rural retreat in the heart of the Vale of Belvoir.

Come and enjoy a break away from the stresses of every day life. Switch off and unwind in our lovingly handcrafted Shepherds hut Mabel.

With views across the Vale to its castle Belvoir, Mabel is the perfect bolt hole for two.

No matter the season or the weather Mabel is the perfect place to relax and make memories with nature on your doorstep.

As we enjoy some of the darkest skies in Leicestershire come and enjoy a spot of star gazing too.

Mabel offers tranquility and is the perfect escape. Off grid for her electricity/heating and hot water, Mabel is run by a battery powered from our solar panels and has a gas boiler to heat the water. Why not take a digital detox? (3/4g is usually available).

Please note that Mabel isn’t accessible by car and is a short 2/3 minute walk from parking on the farm. A wheel barrow is provided to transport your luggage. Don’t forget to bring your wellies/water proof weather depending and a torch.
